The hotel gym included modern equipment. I saw three treadmills and two stationary bikes. The rooftop pool had twenty loungers and a shaded area. Afternoon tea featured assorted pastries, fruit, and tea selections.
The elevator wait times were occasionally long.

dirty jacuzzi small gym
the rooftop bar was there, i guess.
The room, a verdant calm balcony double room, was supposedly 'verdant' but mostly showed a brick wall. Hardly calming. also, the promised balcony jacuzzi looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the previous lunar new year. I considered wearing a hazmat suit. the gym was a glorified closet with one treadmill. I felt more like i was in storage than exercising, honestly.

a nice stay in a special place
old trees pool bar city views
the trees underground are unbelievably old, more than 160 years, it's hard to imagine. they kept their original shape, well-preserved. there is also a very cool pool bar on the first floor with city views. it is worth a visit when in saigon.
i was initially given a room that didn't quite match what i had booked. i had to request a change to get the verdant calm balcony double room. fortunately, the staff were accommodating, and the issue was resolved.

I appreciated the quick relocation to the 7th floor from our initial room on the 1st floor. The high tea was a pleasant surprise I enjoyed. The breakfast spread offered many choices and everything tasted good.
The gym is small I noticed. I found the outside jacuzzi on the balcony to appear old. The city view was not great from my room it is a fact.
